Kelly Lynn Jones is an artist based in Oakland, CA. She received her MFA from the California College of the Arts in 2010. She uses her personal landscape mediated through a visual inventory of found images on the internet by remaking objects creating quotations of the original. By developing a physical extension from the online platform, Jones investigates authorship, our relationship with the objects we make and/or buy and what meaning we put into the “aura” of an object once it becomes ours. Jones is also the founder of the arts organization, www.littlepaperplanes.com.
