Rosie Shipman is an artist, pastry cook and gardener based in Austin, TX. Born and raised in the green hills of California. Throughout their life Rosie has been involved in experiential learning missions, a focus on process-involved-works, and overall finding gratification in the leftovers that consumer culture has to offer, in order to produce thought provoking and functional works of art. After a 2 year stint in art school on scholarship at School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rosie left to pursue other passions, working on sustainable farms and gardens. While tending to a personal garden, Rosie attended and finished a Pastry Certification at the Culinary Academy of Austin.
