Clare Torina

Clare Torina, born in Eugene, OR in 1985, is a recent graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received an MFA in Painting and Drawing. Solo and two-person exhibitions include the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Dixon Gallery & Gardens, and Forum+ in Bruges among multiple group exhibitions in Chicago and Memphis. In 2008, Torina was awarded the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship to attend Yale Summer School of Art in Norfolk, CT. She is currently in residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture.
